Geetrick is getting married!!
Congratulations to Geetrick who is to be married soon! I'll post more information after I talk to him and see what he doesn't mind me posting :)
Maiden of Virtue - DOWN! Romulo & Julianne (Opera Event) DOWN!!
Sunday night we went back into Kara. We were one person down but we decided to try the Maiden of Virtue anyway. After a frusterating fiasco with a fucktard new member that needed to be removed from the guild, we downed her on our second attempt.
Afterward we pushed on to the Opera event. Now with a full team, we went to the Opera event to see what was in store for us. It was Romulo and Julianne. Our first attemt was very close, but due to some miscommunication we failed at the end. Our second attempt was much better and we left the stage experienced thespians.
Drops were: Maiden : Pally bracers (Ambyrstorm) Tank gloves (Gruthug) Romulo and Julianne: DPS trinket (Troja) Mail shoulders (Disenchanted)
Monday night we went back to attempt The Curator but, due to disconnection problems of some key players, we only got him to 56%. We have the strategy, we just need solid connections.
We did an attempt at the new instance Tuesday after the patch. It is a pretty long and involved instance that requires good strategy. On our first attempt ever at the instance we made it to the last boss Kael'thas Sunstrider and got him to 1%... In what has to be THE most annoying 5 man fight in the game, the shitty heals of our noob Paladin (me) just weren't keeping up and we just couldn't push it over the edge.
Huntsman down again with 8 people - Maiden of Virtue to 64%
This week we only had 8 people for kara but we gave it a shot anyway. We killed Attune the Huntsman again with little difficulty Drops were rogue necklass (Ssadab) and Crossbow (Eviltusk).
After that we went to the slave quarters and killed Rokad the Ravager who was nice enough to give us a void crystal (He dropped some piece of epic shit mail armor of frost resist).
Then we decided to have a look arround... we stumbled upon the Maiden of Virtue and on our first attempt with 8 people got her to 70%. Our second attempt with 9 people started before we were actually ready and ended at 64%
All in all we did pretty good for not having a full team.
In our first ever entrance to Karazhan, after starting almost an hour late, we defeated Attune the Huntsman on our second attempt! Drops were a mail bracer that got disenchanted, and a nice rogue necklass which Violette won.
Afterward, we pushed on to Moroes. We are still getting his strategy down, so far we had him to 54% Not too bad for our first time ever!
We learned a lot on that run and it is the first of many to come! Great work guys!

On feburary 14th the design with the most votes wins! Prizes! The winner will not only have his or her tabbard design become the guild's new tabbard, but will also receive:

Why does it say at currently? Beacuse I am putting up 100 gold of my own money for theis prize, and I am going to encourage other officers and members to offer up donations to go to the winer as well! As donations are received, I will increase the number here on the site!
How to enter:
Go to any major city on Azeroth and ask a guard for the "Guild Master"
Use the tabbard design tool at the Guild Master to design a new tabbard.
Take a screenshot (PrtScn key) with the camera as close to the tabbard as possible so it can be easily viewed
Email the picture to me before midnight server time Feburary 8th to:

You may enter as many times as you like.
Please try to make the picture hide your chartacter name or it WILL be edited.
If two identicle entrys are submitted, the one with the earliest time stamp form my email program will be entered into the contest and the other will be returned with an explination.

The WoW Armory provides a comprehensive guild roster and bank contents page far superior to the software I have installed on the website. As such, I have linked to them. Wowhead has removed their embedded talent calculators from fansites, as they no longer offer this service I will be linking directly to theirs instead.
Guild Bank - money in the guild bank will soon be aviliable for members ranking "Core Team" or higher to use for repairs after instance runs. This will be limited to a maximum of 10g / day and it will be on each team member's honor to only use the funds to help repair after runs with the guild. I know 10g is only a drop in the bucket for some of our repair bills, but we aren't the richest guild in the world either. If we have more donations, the ammount may increase.
Guild Bank - As we now have 2 tabs, one tab will be open to deposit and withdrawl from any members. (with daily limits) the other tab will be to hold items that will require officer permission to remove.
Officers will be working on new recruitment policies, updating some out of date raid rules, and some other policy updates.
The results of our voting were extremely encouraging, and I hope everyone is ready to become re-excited about the future of D.O.!
